The story of Matzdorf began nearly sixty years ago, when founder Günter Matzdorf started as an independent sales representative for diamond tools. His fascination with the material diamond - and its uncompromising performance - continues to shape the company to this day.

Matzdorf quickly evolved into a leading manufacturer of diamond tooling solutions. From an early stage, the company invested in the training of its own diamond grinders, recognizing that deep technical expertise is essential to delivering the most innovative products and best-in-class service in this highly specialized field.

Today, second-generation owner and CEO Alexander Matzdorf, together with his team, continuously expands the company’s product portfolio. Through active participation in numerous research and cooperation projects focused on advanced materials and manufacturing technologies, we contribute our long-standing expertise while continuously expanding our own knowledge base.
